Time is running out for Abdullahi Ganduje as national chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), according to sources within the party, a reliable source confirmed.  Governors elected on the platform of the party are said to have resolved to persuade President Bola Tinubu to sacrifice the former governor of Kano State and allow a replacement from any of the states in the North Central zone of the country. The governors are said to have found a replacement- a Christian from Nasarawa State, that they intend to sell to the president. The Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI), has announced a series of activities leading up to the highly anticipated nationwide deployment plan launch of the programme on May 29, 2024. It would be recalled  the Presidential directive on Monday that all Ministries and Agencies should embrace CNGI. Michael O. National Youth Alliance Names Media, Publicity Management Team

  The National Youth Alliance (NYA) has announced the appointment of a Media and Publicity Management Team to oversee its communication strategy and public image. The team, which was appointed on May 12, 2024 by the NYA National Chairman, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, is chaired by Comrade Obande Gideon, who serves as the NYA Publicity Secretary. Hon. Oladipupo Ogunseye, the NYA National Director of New Media, will serve as Co-Chairman, while Comrade Osinachi Mbaoma, the NYA Admin and Broadcast Media Director, will act as Secretary. Comrade Dickson, the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, was also named as a member in the team. SMEs: Gov Yusuf flags-off Monthly Women Empowerment In Kano

*Over 5,000 beneficiaries set to receive   N50,000 monthly  Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has initiated a monthly empowerment programme providing N50,000 to 5,200 women in the state. This was contained in a statement issued by the governor's spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa yesterday. Addressing the audience during the launch of the initiative at the Government House in Kano on Tuesday, the governor announced that each of the 5,200 women spread across the 44 Local Government areas of the state would receive the cash, totaling N260 million, every month until the conclusion of his tenure. Governor Yusuf described the grant as a starting point for the recipients to establish small-scale enterprises, thereby improving their economic standing in light of the familial responsibilities they bear.
