2027: Support Groups Ask Tinubu, Ganduje To Intervene In Benue APC Crisis

Ahead of 2027 general elections, the national leadership of all the support groups of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, to urgently wade in to the ongoing judiciary crisis in Benue State to avoid pending danger and threat to democracy. The APC support groups also raised alarm that opposition political parties may hijack the crisis to frustrate performance of APC government in Benue state and target President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2027 general elections. Northern Governors Mourn Prominent Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Sa’eed Jingir

The Governor of Gombe State, and Chairman of Northern States Governors' Forum,  Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed deep condolences over the demise of Sheikh Sa’eed Hassan Jingir, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ulama of Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'ah wa Iqamatissunnah (JIBWIS), founded by Sheikh Ismail Idris Zakariyya.  According to a statement signed by the Director-General (Press Affairs) Government House Gombe, Ismaila Uba Misilli, dated Thursday March 6, 2025,  Sheikh Jingir passed away in the early hours of  yesterday in Jos after a protracted illness. Ramadan: Jaji Urges Prayers For Tinubu, Nigeria

A federal lawmaker from Zamfara State, Aminu Sani Jaji  has called on Muslims to use the Ramadan period and pray for President Tinubu's administration to achieve a better Nigeria. Jaji made the call while interacting with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Jajiyya Political Movement and his classmates after the Ramadan Iftar breakfast at his residence in Gusau. The lawmaker representing Birnin Magaji/Kaura Namoda Federal Constituency, noted that leaders need prayers to succeed, "The success of our leaders is the success of the country as a whole, therefore, we need to encourage them to do the needful," he noted. Int'l Alert Assures Support To Zamfara Govt In Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Country Director of the  International Alert, an NGO, Mr Paul Nyulaku,  has assured continued support to Zamfara Government in the establishment of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Peace and Conflict Resolution Centers in the state. Nyulaku stated this while speaking to journalists in Gusau at the One-day Stakeholders review meeting on a Bill for the Establishment of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Peace and Conflict Resolution Centers. The review meeting  was organized by the Zamfara State Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the International Alert. The participants of the meeting were drawn from traditional, community and religious leaders, lawyers and media representatives.
